I’m Charlie

and my career has been defined by a single principle:
placing brands a half step ahead of the cultural curve.

It's a philosophy I've applied since my earliest days in marketing, consistently identifying and leveraging "what's next" to create authentic connections with audiences.

My approach…

This approach has been my guide through every technological shift. I was there at the dawn of social media, launching some of the first-ever brand pages on Facebook for icons like Oreo and pioneering brand blogs for the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile. I helped define the intersection of tech and experience by creating the world's first smart voice decanter for Jim Beam and forging groundbreaking esports partnerships for Corteva and Pioneer Seeds.

Long before ChatGPT became a household term, I developed a pre-LLM personality for Chicago's iconic "Bean," turning a sculpture into a sentient tourism ambassador. From feature film production with Pilsner Urquell to early viral "spacevertising" for KFC, the goal is always the same: to use emerging technology not for the sake of novelty, but to build unforgettable brand narratives.

Brand experience and recognition…

Samsung, Motorola, Fitbit, Got Milk?, Oreo, Skittles, KFC, Ubisoft and Disney to science and tech heavyweights including 3M, Genentech and VMware. I'm honored to be recognized by the industry as a Top 25 Innovator, to be a proud winner of Cannes Lions, PRWeek awards, Shorty awards, In2 awards, "Tweeter of the Year" and the fall 1989 "first-grader of the quarter" at Ogden Elementary School.
